we knew we wanted to focus on our own identity and incorporating it into a group look. We started in the direction of a face to grasp the identity portion of our logo and developed our group name in type to complete our logo face. We thought this best displayed our group name but also grasped our group identity. A challenge was communicating to the client why that wasn’t the best direction but that we can use they important elements. When developing this projects identity I went through a numerous amount of different logo directions before I landed on the official logo, which incorporates two fist in place of the butterflies wings. I wanted to put my own spin on it and apply it to campus and add an educational aspect to this campaign. When starting this project I knew I wanted to create a unique pattern for each pronoun highlighted without fitting into the “stereotypical“ colors of that pronoun. I played with multiple different brush and pattern style before finding the direction I thought fit best based off of research I had constructed.
